He stood in the center of the Inn, peering around as though confirming the location and position of each table and chair in the room. There is pleasant light-heartedness that surrounds this tale and even the fantasy genre clichés that are evident in these books does little to spoil. The characters are rather one-dimensional but well written even so, the writing style simplistic yet easily read and certainly enjoyable.Įverything is very much black and white in these books, you know straight away who is good and who is evil. It is Epic Fantasy in style and written from the third-person perspective. This is a highly enjoyable series of fantasy books better suited to the younger reader. The Chronicles consist of 1056 pages and were first published by Penguin books in 1988.ĭragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night and Dragons of Spring Dawning form the Dragonlance Chronicles.
